White Card Gold Coast price

The White Card course on the Gold Coast costs $99. You can also get a replacement QLD White Card for $19.

What is a White Card and who needs one?

A White Card is very similar to a drivers license. Let's have a side by side look:

Basically, WorkSafe Queensland (and their equivalent in other States) insures workers on construction sites in case of injuries, covering medical bills and wages. In return, they ask all workers to complete safety induction training prior to starting work. If a worker is found onsite without a White Card, the worker and the employer will both be fined.

The course covers important safety topics that help safe livelihoods and lives. You will learn how to identify hazards, how to minimise or even eliminate risks entirely, under what situations to wear personal protective equipment and more.

The course maps to the unit of competency CPCCWHS1001 - prepare to work safely in the construction industry.

As part of the course, you will learn how to react to incidents such as injuries, fires and other emergencies.

You will also learn the importance of signs used on construction sites and when and how to handle tags on machinery and equipment.
