Tradie Training start-up

When we first started Tradie Training in January 2020, we expected our demand to be fairly low. After all, we had almost no online presence, no one really knew about us and we had no reviews. As such, we decided to rent a smallish, not too expensive training room in Macgregor to conduct our White Card training. Macgregor is a pretty ideal location for face-to-face training as it is fairly central in Brisbane South. The location also offered free onsite parking, which was a must for our 4h course.

With our online presence ramping up and word of mouth starting to kick in thanks to our incredible reviews, we knew we had to move to something bigger. The whole COVID-19 situation was also rolling out, and we felt uncomfortable with the lack of space.

The new Brisbane White Card training centre

Luckily for us, we found what seemed to be the perfect location just 5 minutes away in Rocklea, just mere 400 metres from the local Bunnings Warehouse. It is a nice 44sqm room with free onsite parking out the front door, located at 53 Marshall Road. Air conditioned, water for a filtered water fountain, right next to a snack place, the place seemed to tick all boxes. We also ran a simulation on google maps, calculating how it would affect the transport options from our previous customers. To our relief, the time stayed relatively unchanged for both car and public transportation.

A few months after the move, we are incredibly happy with the new location and keen to share a few pictures.

With the signs up, we were also able to get verified by Google my Business and now appear on Google maps, making it easier for our customers to find and navigate to. You can see our Google my Business page for the Brisbane South location here.
